I especially like the higher rack — which can be used for keeping things warm! Just make sure to get a metal one… the plastic ones don’t do so well. Y’all enjoy now!
Today I went to Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber restaurant in Waikiki, Hawaii. I went there for lunch so there wasn’t a band playing or any drinking going on or anything, but it was a nice atmosphere and it had pretty good food. Here are a few of the photos I took.
I got roped into going on a business trip for training and they twisted my arm to fly to Hawaii where I stayed in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Overall this was a nice hotel with nice services, however it was a bit pricy and it seems as though it is a trap. The hotel has everything that you want to prevent you from ever leaving. It is close enough to Waikiki to either walk or take the trolley. A nice stroll down the beach is always an nice venture. Here are some photos I took of my room, views from around the hotel, and even the views from the beach.
Today I went to Omiya, which is located in the Saitama Prefecture, in Japan. There seems to be a lot of bars, restaurants, snacks, and other forms of entertainment in this area. Here are some of the photos I took of this adventure.
Can you believe it? This guy wins 181 million in the lottery on a Wednesday, and then finds the love of his life just 2 days later. Talk about luck!
I’m in Seattle, Washington for a few days on a business trip. While here I decided to go take a look at the fish market and the space needle. Here are a couple photos I took of those places.
Took a drive on the Tomei expressway from Kanagawa Prefecture to Shizuoka Prefecture. Here are some photos I took along the way. If you look you can see Mount Fuji in some of the photos.
Went to Roppongi today to check out the Tokyo tower and enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo. The weather wasn’t the most clear, but it was still good. I could see Rainbow bridge, Fuji television in Odaiba, and other parts of the city. Here are the photos I took during this adventure.

While the C-5 was turning over its engines, a female crewman gave the G.I.s on board the usual information regarding seat belts, emergency exits, etc. Finally, she said, “Now sit back and enjoy your trip while your captain, Judith Campbell, and crew take you safely to Afghanistan.”
An old MSgt. sitting in the eighth row thought to himself, “Did I hear her right? Is the captain a woman?”
When the attendant came by he said “Did I understand you right? Is the captain a woman?”
“Yes,”! said the attendant, “In fact, this entire crew is female.”
“My God,” he said, “I wish I had two double scotch and sodas. I don’t know what to think with only women up there in the cockpit.”
“That’s another thing, Sergeant,” said the crew member, “We No Longer Call It The Cockpit”……”It’s The Box Office.”
Took a drive from Sagami-ono to Narita airport in Japan. Here are some photos I took along the way and also some neat cars I saw at the Narita airport.

The question is: Do you use bacon grease?
We were raised on bacon grease (lard) as kids and even into adulthood. I will never use it again. I hope you will throw yours away whenever you fry bacon from now on. It seems as though nothing is safe to eat anymore.
Cooking With Bacon Grease
I just threw out my last 2 tbsp of bacon grease! This is what happens when you keep cooking with bacon grease. This is a warning. It could happen to you…
Bacon grease will make your feet small! Warn everyone!
Went down to the USS Missouri (The Mighty MO) located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and took a tour and snapped some photos. Here are some of the photos. This was quite an experience. The USS Missouri shoots projectiles the size of a Volkswagen Bug up to 30 miles. Wow! Also it was quite a thing to stand on the exact spot where the Japanese signed their surrender to World War II in Tokyo Bay. If you ever get the opportunity, definitely go visit the USS Missouri and take in the whole experience.
Took a tour of the USS Bowfin in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Here are some of my photos from that experience.
