While flying over the Rocky Mountains I was trying to take a nice photo that included as many mountains as I could. After a few edits I think this shot came out pretty nice.
Here is a nice arial photo taken while flying over Denver and the Mile High Stadium.
While flying out of Denver, Colorado I was playing around with making a time lapse video of the Rocky Mountains.

While in Nevada I drove over to the Hoover Dam to take a tour and learn more about the dam that tamed the Colorado river and provides water and electricity to the desert south west of the United States. It was certainly a sight to see and interesting to learn about all that went into building the dam.

If you ever happen to drive between Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada along Highway 15 you may happen to notice what looks like acres of shiny mirrors that point to solar collectors. It is nice to see this land put to use to create energy. There isn’t much else to look at in this dry desert area.
